Information we collect and use
While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, billing details and IP address. (“Personal Information”).
Like many site operators, we may collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).
This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order. We will never retain your details for marketing purposes, unless you choose to sign up to our newsletter. If you submit your email address to receive newsletters from us, we will take this as positive consent to contact you infrequently with details of products & new offers. If you wish to unsubscribe, select the ‘unsubscribe’ option in the email. Making an order with us will not automatically add you to our mailing list. We will never pass your details on to any other parties.
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers’ hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow cookies on your computer) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information.
Payments using a PayPal account go through the secure PayPal gateway.
Being in ‘secure mode’ means that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. Encryption creates billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our payment gateway sites, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the internet and are not seen nor stored by Blossom & Ivy Botanicals or any of our servers, databases or employees.
Orders are placed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. During payment, we also ask for your card billing address as an additional security check.
No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed. This is why you can save your favourite delivery address but need to enter your card details each time you order.
